Has or does anyone ever ice fish this area? If so, what is access like? I assume the dirt road to the boat ramp is not maintained.

If you have fished this area, what is your success like?

Sawyer,
Nobody keeps roads open down there unless someone has a personal plow. The main ramp snows in easy. Most access the low water ramp. I’ve heard the ice is really rough this year with lots of pressure ridges from a buddy.

Generally fishing is really spotty down there. Can be ok or Dead Sea. It’s a lot like the east end. As per reports I would suggest heading further west to where the bite is good.

Success is good if you can find them. As always Sak ice can get pretty sketchy, just got to be careful.
