Folks are getting bolder. Mostly walk on access, but there are a few sleds and quads out there on various lakes. Some of the lakes just froze over completely, so watch yourself. Take a ice spud and check the ice as you walk out. Guys I talked to said most of their spots were 8 inches of ice. Walk on access for Hobart mostly, The sanborn ponds are walk on, but lots of area there just froze over yesterday. Eckelson had some sleds and quads, Moon had some quads, but mostly walking. Ashtabula has a wide variety of access options up to vehicles, but I think that's dumb to take a vehicle at this point. Anyway, hope this helps. Good Luck and Be Safe!!!

Thanks for the update KDM!

Planning to try either Mosher's or Fox this afternoon - will report back with results later this evening!

I assume everyone is driving all over now? Ice thickness reports? Action?

Also wondering about the snow and how access is after the storm?

I checked ice up by Sibley on Wednesday morning. Most ice was 20 inches, under drifts was 15-16. Vehicles were driving all over by sundstrom's and the crossing going south.
