CarvDog! Long time no see. How high of resolution do you need? The site takes a pic daily https://worldview.earthdata.nasa.gov. And I know a few meteorology enthusiasts on here can give you some other links. When do we get the details on that new rig?

I have used this one before: http://ge.ssec.wisc.edu/modis-today/index.php

Click the region you want to look at and switch the view to 250m (most zoom). You may have to go backwards/forwards on the date to find a shot without cloud coverage.

Hahah! I've been a hermit all winter....got out and ice fished twice with crap luck ... I'll be posting more as soon as I get the dang boat!! Trying to get some free time this week to drive to Bismark.
Would have gotten it yesterday if we didn't have a disater at work... Figured I can't have a boat without a job... So that should proably come first ;:;rofl

This is the only one I've seen where ice can often seen. But obviously it depends on cloud cover and also importantly which particular satellite made the last pass cuz one of them kind of sucks or like today when one of them didn't even make a pass over our state.

That's a pretty good site. Definitely make it easy to use although it could use a little less crap on the screen.
