I remember what took place shortly afterwards. A massive amount of support for our country! The American Flag was being displayed anywhere and everywhere! I don't think those that currently are kneeling for that flag would have gone over very well!!

I asked my kids what 9/11 meant to them as I drove them in to school this morning. They have a general idea, but they seemed to be more in the loop on the stories of heroism surrounding 9/11 than they were the despots that attacked our country. It was an interesting conversation with an 11 and 12 year old.
