2019 outdoor goals

So what is everyone’s outdoor goal for the new year?
I am not into New Years resolutions but I have a couple things I wanna do
this year.
1. Shed hunting in the badlands
2. Bow hunting in the badlands
3. Paddlefishing

I’ve never been to the badlands but the area has
always intrigued me

Transition my oldest daughter from rimfire rifles to centerfire rifles without inducing any bad flinching habits. Maybe start to work in a rimfire handgun for her as well.

I have a couple days of fishing booked in the Florida Keys in April. An ocean day and a backcountry tarpon trip. Hopefully those go well. If the walleye fishing is as good as last year it will be another fantastic year, and if I’m going to dream big I guess I hope I draw my Nd moose or elk tag

Get my fucking boat fixed so I can actually use it more than once.
Boundary Waters bear hunt.
Montana elk.
ND ruffed grouse.

To pull an antelope or sheep tag and go hunting. That would be awesome, getting one or both would be the icing on the cake.

I'd also like to get my Willys running before summer so I can start using it instead of looking at it.

Fish more. I only got 10 days on the water. Between grad-school (done with classes!), Twinions, and Dad spending most of the year in the hospital (he had his second heart surgery yesterday and that went well!), I need time on the water. Never did ice fish in 2018.

Hopefully I'll finally make it to Montana for a DIY black bear hunt. Hunt muley's with the bow a lot more. Fish more bass tournaments.

Stand in line for OTC musk ox tag in two weeks.
Impatiently wait for draw results to be posted February 15th.
Hopefully obtain tag and hunt musk ox in March on Nunivak.
Catch salmon until fingers twitch and coffee no longer works May-September.
Grizzly over bait in June.
Ling Cod and Yellow Eye in July.
Dall Sheep in August.
Hopefully draw a cow moose for September. Or hopefully wife draws a goat tag so she can have redemption from last year's tag. If we don't draw anything, probably head out to Bethel to hunt with my good buddy at Papa Bear.

Maybe throw in a ND Archery tag in there for November or December. Keep building copious amounts of pref points in ND, WY, and CO! I hope everyone has their best year yet! Good luck!
