Just looking for a little info on either 1. Headed out that way to chase crappie on sat. Ice thickness, snow cover, if I could get around with a 1/2 ton truck ect. Only do it once maybe twice a yr. Don't need any honey holes or gps cords. Any help would be great THANKS!!!

People are driving on Pipestem around the edges of the lake and around the boat ramp, and pulling their permanents out. Where I've been fishing I find about 15" of ice, but if I drill out further into the middle near the river channel the thickness varies a lot. Snow cover shouldn't be an issue.

Haven't fished the Res once this year or even drove over there to see what's going on.
