Ice Shelter Floor

Was thinking of making something out of plywood and 2X2's. Could put eye hooks in the corners to hold the portable shelter down. I have an Eskimo Quickfish 3i. Would 1/4 inch plywood be thick enough? Don't want to make it too heavy. Maybe some hinges in the middle so it folds up. Clam carries this one for a 150 bucks.

I had plans to build one for mine, but I bought a couple sets of these instead.

I took an old rubber truck bed mat and cut my holes in it. Nice thing is it roles up, bad part is its heavy. The foam is nice and light, but tough to roll. Plywood sounds even heavier than rubber.

Ive got some foam squares that lock together that work pretty well, they are 2'x2', about 5/8 thick, very light and insulating, not slippery when wet unless water freezes on them.

I feel like wet/frozen plywood wouldn't be fun to cart around all winter

Just a small piece of plywood to keep your feet on. Otherwise gets to be a PITA setting up so much stuff unless plan on staying in one spot all day.
