Recently, I have made some changes and improvements to the site. Some are quite noticeable, and some are unable to be seen.

I have done as much of it as I can, myself, and for things I could not figure out, I hired a coder.

Updated the main navigation.
Increased size and visibility of multiple buttons.
Fixed numerous site errors.
Upgraded server.
Added easy nav buttons on the homepage.
Made it possible to send images in pm’s.
Added moods and statuses in user postbits.
Fixed lake maps page.
Fixed store page.
Completely overhauled the SEO.
Added a 404 image fix for non hosted images.
Built an easy upload option for images gallery and added button to homepage.
Built a Product Reviews section, so that members can share their experience with the things we buy/use.

Going to let things ride for a bit and see if any issues pop up, and fix them if they do.

Next, I hope to renovate the mobile version of the site.

I have noticed pages loading slower on my Chrome laptop and Samsung tablet. The header loads with a dark blue blank space below it. Definitely slower than it was a week or so ago.

The background is now that blue, which is why you see that as it loads.

I was thinking things had sped up, but one of the hosting options definitely makes the site load different. Maybe I will try reverting that, and tinker with other options to try and speed things up.

Thanks for the feedback.

The pages all load for me in stages. I get the top image and nav, after about 2 seconds the footer of the site loads and then about 3-5 seconds after that the body of the page loads. I have noticed a definite hit in load time for me. I really like the rest of the updates!

If it helps, I am using Windows 10 with Chrome.

it seems as though the option to post pictures to a thread response is gone. No way to grab a attachment to place in a thread response from what I can tell

Untitled.png

Click "Go Advanced" to use the one in the top right.
The arrow on the left is quicker and easier to use.

(copy/paste also works)

I'm still a bit confused with what "triggers" political.
