Drop LBrandt a PM. He brought some smoked almonds to the bullhead tourney a couple years back that were intergalactic good.

Hate to give up my secret. But it is real simple I buy roasted and salted almonds mix a 4 0z bottle of wrights liquid smoke and a 12oz bottle of soy sauce, put in a spray bottle. Put 3# almonds in a large bowl and spray and mix until almond are well coated, spread on two cookie sheets and put in oven at 200 for 20 min, take out and mix them around and put back in oven until moisture is gone. A little trial and error until you get the right dryness, works for me. Wonderful brand almonds worked the best if you can find them. Sams used to carry them but they dont anymore. Good luck and good snacking.

Works on sunflower nuts that I buy at Wal-mart. Sent a lot of them to 3geese4me when he and his fellow troops were over there. Never heard any complaints.

These are a good backup - Costco!

No way, those are way too easy for guywhodoesitthehardway. I bet you didn’t even have to source clean 55 gallon drums for those almonds. I bet they’re great with ice cream.

Thanks to you dolts and this thread, I googled Blue Diamond Almonds. Holy snikies, talk about a crap ton of different flavors. I have had the smokehouse and wasabi soy sauce ones but it looks like I need to try and find a few more flavors to try. There are quite a few more then just these.

Well that's a suck sandwich.................

I knew better - I tried to use a Pitt Boss to accomplish the delicate task of roasting - there's very little room for error when roasting nuts

I should have roasted in the oven but I ignored the little bell that went off in my head about it

must have ruined a whopping $8 worth of almonds! :D
