I guess I’ve always considered the east end from the 83 embankment to about hazen bay, then hazen bay to the bottom of the arm the middle section and from there west the west end but that’s just me.

I should say from the East point of Douglas bay to 83. Douglas bay is a whole different area in it's own.

I agree with walleyeman....Douglas east is what we consider the east end.

The east end of Sakakawea has one thing for sure -- bordered on the east by the Hwy 83 embankment -- otherwise it more or less is up to the person describing it where it starts to the west. I call from the west end of Mallard Island to Hwy 83 the east arm since the main channel turns to the south or the Dam west of Mallard Island. My penny and half....

When I had a small boat with 7.5hp motor, east end meant from Wolf Creek and east, when I jumped up to a 75hp, east end was from Centennial and east, now with 150hp, east end is Garrison and east. :::

East end is full of liberal walleye, they even taste progressive.

I look at it this way;

East End - Hwy 83 to the Hazen bay
Mid-Lake - Hazeon Bay to Indian Hills
West End - Indian hills to Shell Village and up the river to about skunk
The Arm - Shell to Van-hook
South River - Skunk to the bridge
North River - Everything North of the bridge

This essentially breaks the lake down into approximately 19-22 mile sections, geographically correct so to speak.

This I agree with.
