Lost my wedding ring while either raking leaves or washing dishes. Nothing in the sink trap so I'm assuming its outside. Wife is frighteningly calm with me. If any of you fellers have a metal detector, I would sure be appreciative if I could borrow it.

My brother lost his wedding ring one time, we searched for it and finally came to the conclusion that when he was playing with our St. Barnard the ring must of came off in the dogs mouth and sure enough about a day and a half later the ring came out.

You're all laughing now, but when I find buried gold on my property....I'll probably keep buying crankbaits.

Lost two rings and gave it up. One is in a gut pile somewhere in my pasture and the other is at the bottom of Eckelson Lake. Lost that one while ice fishing. IMO, a ring doesn't make me married, my commitment to my wife....does.

fully agree, kdm. I told her I would lose it eventually but she insisted on an expensive ring for me. I say expensive but it was roughly 1/10 of what her right cost. Not that bad when compared. I fully expect to lose it every time I'm fishing and am amazed when it comes home with me. If I find it, its going in her jewelry box. Done worrying about it.

I must size my rings tighter, they come off, but it takes about 200 psi..

Maybe dirtymike should know dishes and the cleaning of them is woman's work

Juaner's got a point…how do you expect to stay married if you are doing all the fun stuff she likes to do???

I was a little huskier when I got married. She loosened up on me through the last three years. And I was trying to get some brownie points before I went fishing tonight. Now I get roam round the backyard.

It's precious metal. Will last years out there with no harm. Go fishing.

Were you wearing gloves while doing the yard work to protect your money makers? If so, maybe it came off inside the gloves?
