Wire Coat Dog Shampoo

The new family member stinks to high heaven. I have read that you shouldn't use conditioner type shampoo on a wire hair. What do you wire hair guys use on your dogs to keep the stiff coarse hair and reduce stench!!!

Used to shave the wired Nazi in the summer and let her jump in the lake. No stink no ticks no shit. She loved it.

Just plain pet shampoo. Rinse, lather, repeat. Unless they've been in skunk, my wires don't stink hardly at all.

mane and tail shampoo seems to be the best for our dogs. Used it since we had a wirehair.
