I am. I enjoy it more and more every year. Love sitting on a lawn chair near a water hole in the evening waiting for those little buggers to fly over.

Pound to flatten a dove breast half, add a slice of jalapeno and some cream cheese rolled inside, and wrap with 1/2 strip of turkey bacon secured with a soaked toothpick. Grill over medium heat til turkey bacon is done. YUM

The deer don't seem to be cooperating according to my trail cameras, so it is making me look forward to dove hunting more.

I have a springer spaniel that just turned 1, So I am excited to get him in the field before pheasant season.

I AM!!!

I'm stoked that I have opening day off and I'm stoked that I get to go! The only possible setback is that I don't really know where to go. First time going for doves in ND for me!

My lab is chomping at the bit to get some birds. Good week end to get the rust off the dog, gun and me. Good luck to everyone hunting or fishing this week end and stay safe.
