Anyone use scent drags with much success? I have a couple stands that are just a few yards off where they should be and I need to be able to pull a buck across into range. Thoughts? I know a few guys who swear by dragging scents, they say time after time deer cross the scent and follow it right to them. I have only done it on a limited basis and haven't experienced that. Any tips?

I have had it work perfectly twice. That's good since I have only done it half a dozen times. It worked both times when the drags were new. I should try it more often, but I think I will buy small felt pads at Wal-Mart and discard them each time. I have not put much time into bow hunting in the past ten years. I have shot a few bucks, but have put in very little effort.

Out at Pipestem I had a little 4x4 track me to my stand. I had boiled rubber boots and put in some effort that time. When he got to my stand he licked the bottom step. I guess he liked Tinks 69 scent.
