I see Russia has been completely banned from the 2018 winter Olympics. From what I read, the IOC is also revoking a whole bunch of the medals they won in 2014 and reassigning them to the competitors who weren’t (caught) cheating.

Suck it, Russia.

That is all.

Red Dawn was a formative show for me. I never hated anyone until seeing that movie, then the Russkies were the bad guys, for sure.

Also a deeply meaningful show, Convoy. Loved it.

Now they're gonna let 'em compete in the O's, just can't fly their flag. I guess not flying of the flag prevents them from doping. WTH!

How could this be? They are too busy tampering with elections to do something of the sort! I assume Trump's team will be in secret discussion with them about it.....and here I thought young Vladmir was a nice fella, guess I pegged him wrong.

As a kid, I learned some important truths that seemed absolute:

1. America is the greatest country in all of human history and superior to all other nations.
2. Soviets are the devil.
3. Precipitation is always good (it was the late 80s after all).

None of these beliefs have changed much. I still love rain, even if it’s coming down while I’m stacking sandbags.
