The 35[SUP]
th[/SUP] annual Bis-Man Reel & Rec club ice fishing tournament was held Saturday, February 17[SUP]
th[/SUP]. There were some 280 participants with 46 youth anglers. Three cash prizes were given out for 1[SUP]
ST[/SUP] ($175), 2[SUP]
nd[/SUP] ($105), and 3[SUP]
rd[/SUP] ($70) including Northern Pike, Walleye, and Perch. Fishing took place from 10:00AM until 2:00PM, and the following were the winning weights recorded:
Northern Pike:
1[SUP]st[/SUP] Haily 13lbs 9oz,
2[SUP]nd[/SUP] Mike 3lbs 14oz, and
3[SUP]rd[/SUP] Jesse 3lbs 3oz (3 total northern)
Perch:
1[SUP]st[/SUP] Kobie 9.0oz,
2[SUP]nd[/SUP] Cody 7.9oz, and
3[SUP]rd[/SUP] Jordon 7.2oz (19 total perch)
Walleye:
1[SUP]st[/SUP] Colby 5lbs 5oz,
2[SUP]nd[/SUP] Logan 3lbs 3oz, and
3[SUP]rd[/SUP] Jesse 1lbs 15oz (50 total walleyes)
After the fishing, awards and raffles were held at Knights in Riverdale. All of the youth anglers received a zebco tackle box sponsored by Bis-Man Reel & Rec Club, AMVETS of Bismarck, and VFW of Bismarck. Thanks for all the support in making this a very successful event.
