I have a Lowrance Globalmap 5200c in my boat. I got it second hand and it works just fine. It takes SD cards and it came with one in it. I do not know the brand or type of card that is in it. I am wondering if anyone has any familiarity with this model and if it is compatible with any map chips that have lake contours available.
I know it is about 5 generations old in terms of GPS units but I am not looking to upgrade my GPS quite yet.

Any help would be great.

If you can find an old Lakemaster chip for Lowrance (before they went exclusively Humminbird) that should work. Check eBay. You will pay a premium for them now as they're getting hard to find.
