Heading to that area next week. I hate sitting in a hotel room and have never been up there before. Was wondering if there was a place a guy could toss a jig or crank from shore close to the casino in the evening.

Thanks#$%^&>

Yes. I suggest either going to the south side of the camping area, or if you don't want to buy a tribal license, jog across the river and fish around the New Town Marina area.

Well made it out tonight. Called g&f about license. They gave me the number for the tribes. When I called them they asked if I was registered with a tribe. I said no. They said all I needed was a state license. Tried it and here are the results. Not quite as good as MSA but still fun.

Yeah, white zooms. Wind may have been a factor when i was there. Waves were crashing into the shore pretty good, stirrin up mud n bait.

Might have been from boat. I was closer to the bridge so don't know what was on the south side of the ramp. I only seen two other guys. I left at dark and they had a couple of northern, carp and a channel cat. Going to give her another shot tonight.

Also caught another walleye but didn't take a pic of it. Had a lot more hits today. Just couldn't close the deal. Heading back down to some faster water. Really enjoyed it up here. Might have to drag the boat up this year. You guys have a great fishery here

So I'm heading back up to the area again in a couple of weeks. Wondering what a guy has to do to hook into a few this late in the year from shore. Will throwing jigs and plastics still work like it did earlier this year?

Could maybe one of you Sak rats give this guy a PM and put'em in your boat for a day on the water???? Seems we have enough NDA'ers on here that fish Sak that could maybe give a fellow fisherman a hand.....er boat. I'd take you, but I'm a loooooooong ways out from where you're going to be. Like the pics and it's nice to see another LBF (Land Based Fisherman) be successful.
