I've been using the Plano tackle organizer until I found this on amazon. It has almost everything I need for freshwater fishing techniques: Texas, Drop shot, Wacky rigging, etc... The box is durable and the best at keeping it all together in a certain little spot with individual tops on each part. I don’t have to worry about it flipping upside down.
I'm interested in what you guys use for storing. Is there anything better out there?

Found same thing at co-op in new town. It was made by clam. So far I like.

Lakco makes a utility box very similar to that one and runs $3-5 in local stores during ice season. Plano also makes a small utility box like that is a higher price but has more dividers. I use both for ice fishing jig storage.

I go to the thrift stores and pick up used make-up and jewelery boxes and zippered tote bags for a dollar or two. You can find some handy stuff for next to nothing. Jewelery boxes have lots of compartments and work great for different kinds of cranks and spoons/spinners. Zippered computer bags work good for crank bait flats. I think I paid $2 or $3 for the zippered bags and a dollar for the cash box.

I use the double sided plano box. there's a nice shelf under the dash of my 1880. My spools of line and that box sit under there.

I have a high rise topper on an 8ft box and between the coolers and tackle and extra rods she is full.
