Surface Cracks in Livewell???

Cleaning out the livewell and noticed very fine surface cracks at bottom of livewell. You can feel them with your fingernail. Is there a way to treat/seal these so they don't get worse?

Thoughts?

Sell it. haha. I'd call the manufacturer/dealer to see what the best treatment would be.

I always heard if something gets a crack in it, that you should use a small drill to punch a hole at the ends of the crack to keep it from spreading. Something to consider.

To be honest I can't tell if it is constructed out of an engineered plastic or if it is fiberglass... I will try and get pictures posted tonight...

At least on the bottom of a boat , Stop holes do work though

Duct tape? #$%^&> I popped a rivet on a canoe and was able to patch the hole (while on the watera0 with a roll of duct tape. Took a bunch, but it held.

How about flex seal tape? It didn't work on a plastic pitcher that I have in the kitchen, so I'm out the $13 I paid for the roll. But, it would be another avenue for you.

Hey, I didn't suggest he needed really big ones. 1/4 inch should do the trick.

HOT GLUE GUN clean and light sand where the cracks are. What you got to loose or that pickup box linner stuff at fleet farm. Just throwing stuff at the wall see what sticks.
