Using deer hunting as a modem of introduction to hunting for a youngster is probably NOT the best option. I started my daughter out with turkey, duck, and goose hunting. Motion and noise were not that big of a deal and birds are a bit more forgiving than deer. I could see the birds from a long ways off and tell her to get ready and be quiet cuz here they come. It worked to a T. I had to laugh though at the nonchalant look on her face when the camera panned around to her. She's like "Meh", what's your problem?

Growing up dad always had the hard lemon drops and the pink chalky pepto bismol colored peppermints with. He claimed they were good luck for deer hunting

When is the last time any of us enjoyed BBQ chips as much as her.....look at the way she savors the crumbs that fall outside her mouth. Ahh, the forgotten joys of childhood.....

PLUS, she's with Dad hunting! Good on you Vol!

I agree about her enjoying the chips, but now I WANT some BBQ chips and may have to make a run to the store for some.
