Just curious what everyone uses out there, myself personally I love the new scheels walleye series this year. I also have a ONE rod, but I think the walleye series rod has a lot better feel. Also paired with a pflueger supreme.

Scheel's 7ft med hvy fast action spooled with 6/20 Power Pro. Actually that's my favorite spinner setup for anything. I'm easy.

It used to be my Loomis but have since started using the St Croix. Both are run with 10lb power pro with a small swivel and 2 feet of flouro.

Just broke mine today... was a med xfast 6'6 scheels walleye series rod... didn't have a replacement in stock so i just took another med moderate for trolling and I'll have to go back to my abu ultra light with a fast rip for a couple weeks until I can get another scheels one

Oh ya... i use power pro 15lb slick 8 and a quick clip (no swivel) with a 2' leader of triline XT 20lb

6'6 Fenwick Med Fast with a Shimano Sedona and 10/4 Fireline Crystal. Had an old Gander Mtn setup that got stepped on that was similar but wow is this a much better set up!

I second the scheels walleye series. I enjoy it but have never used a loomis or anything better so I have no idea in the difference. Strung up with 10lb super slick 8 pp.

For vertical presentation i use my Loomis SJR 721 its a 6' med light fast with a 1000 Stradic Ci4. For pitching I use a Loomis WPJR 8225 6'10" med fast with a 15 Quantum Smoke.

5' 9" Legend Extreme med extra fast. It is so sensitive I can feel the minnow wiggle. St. Croix makes it.

I have another friend who snapped his scheels rod last night. Hahah he is super happy that he can get a replacement when he is fargo today. .... It is soothing having replacement junk i guess haha.

Custom builds all the way. Tried to find a jigging rod "Off the Rack" a couple years ago just for fun and had a really hard time (didn't find one) locating a loomy or Croix jigging rod that had the line guides aligned along the inside of the natural spine of the rod or in other words....BUILT CORRECTLY!!! If I'm going to spend 200 clams or more on a rod it should be built correctly, IMO. As I said before, I haven't shopped for a jigging rod in a few years, so maybe they have fixed that little problem in the manufacturing process.

6.5 foot hmx split grip 2 peice I built myself. probably not the best I can build but it was the 3rd rod I built myself. Paired with a shimano Sonora reel spooled with 10 pound nanofil. Just order a 1 piece 6 foot medium/light fast to build myself for an even better jigging rod.

Are St. Croix's really that good? a guy I work with builds custom rods and he said a lot of the scheels brand rods are st. Croix blanks.
