I put a Navionics card in my Lowrance HDS7 a few days ago and went o Sakakawea. Seemed like the contour depths that it showed were about 14 feet less than what the sonar showed. (showed 7 feet and sonar showed 21). Buddy had a Hummingbird that was about 5 feet too low. He had an option to adjust the chart for lake level changes. Did some research on the Interweb and read that Lowrance does not have that option. Funny thing is, I was in the boat this afternoon while it was sitting in the garage. I fired up the chart and checked some of the areas that we fished and waypoints that I set. Seems like it might have corrected itself. Does it have some intelligence that will do that or do I have my head where the sun doesn't shine? Anyone else running this setup on an HDS7?

It’s because the maps were made at a much lower lake level. Lake is way up now. Contour depths on a map on reservoirs that fluctuate are totally unreliable. They are really just a reference to underwater structure
