No, it was just a one day this year. They are back to the casino cup circuit again. Top 25 of the four casino tournaments get to fish end of September for the championship.

Nice job sweeney! Is that above the pay line?
Yea the day of the tourney they decided to pay 19-40 there money back since they had 119 teams and it is 100% payback tourney. So a 1/3 of the field got paid. Not sure how they came up with their payouts, majority of the people thought it was capped at 100 teams, so who knows. Teams were launched in two flights by last name of the captains which seemed weird to me. They definitely need to do a better job with organizing and having a set of rules and payouts and sticking to them. All in all though they did a pretty decent job of launching boats and weighing fish and keeping things moving. They need to get things a bit more standardized and if there are going to be changes announce them to the whole field at the rules meeting.

I totally agree payouts were not that good, not sure how many people pay the entry fee, gas, bait, time off from work and take 21st-39th out of 119 teams and get to split $300 and think it was worth it. I would have like to have seen the $5,400 that got split between 21st-39th put up toward the top 10. If you finish in the top ten out of 119 teams you accomplished something and should get rewarded for it. I sure as heck wouldn't expect a check for anything that far down out of only 119 teams. As far as everything else went it was rather smooth going.
