Hey guys just wondering if anyone know of a repair shop around Minot or even in the state that will repair an old boat seat. I have a 97 Lund Tyee that the bottom of one of the chairs rotted out and is not usable any more. The fabric material is good just needs the wood backing to be replaced. I would like to keep them all matching if I can, if not i could just buy a new one I guess.

You can try Pam's Upholstery in Minot. She does really nice work and is pretty reasonable price wise. I would however caution you on the reuse of the fabric. Chances are it might look ok but if the wood is old enough to be rotten, the fabric is probably brittle and it won't go back together very well.

I've gone threw this with a couple of my seats. I just screw a new piece of plywood to the old and then attach to the base.
