here' my yellow lab at about 9 months. she is a hunting machine. had no training whatsoever. never even threw a ball in the yard more than a handful of times. she has no interest in that at all. it's bizarre. but you get her on the hunt and she is out of this world. took her first live rooster off the nest at nine months and just carried it over to me lol.

Frosty, your Shephard looks like mine when he was a pup. Awesome dog, except he still enjoys chasing cars ...but loyal as the day is long.

We don't need to lock the doors at night and she absolutely loves to fish,

Charlie was unable to make the cut with scent work so we adopted her to watch our country home and kids.
I will always own a Dutch Shepherd.

She is on eternal watch of our family

This is the litter we picked our pup from, we named him "dumpster" because he has a habit of eating what he's not supposed to (legos, dog toys, etc.)

He has put on some size since a year ago, luckily his bloodlines are from a smaller locality of an already small specie of crocodile.

This is Koda. She's our 10 yr old GSP. She was the last one to go from the litter. Just before we got her, we were talking to a family friend that has a breeding program for short hairs. We told him we just had to part with our other dog and were pretty bummed. He said he had one left and would give her to us for very (VERY) cheap. I eventually got to hunt with her (koda's) mom and sister. It's amazing how similar they hunted. Koda still enjoys dumping the garbage over, eating anything that feels soft against her teeth, and laying on furniture that she's been told not to (shes in trouble in the picture above). She actually listens pretty well but my parents have slowed down a lot and don't run her as often as a GSP should be ran. Very loyal, very friendly, and a fantastic hunter. Unfortunately, we only get about 1 good day of hunting out of her before shes too sore.

Before Koda, was Moose. The runt of the litter, we named him after a large animal to be funny. He eventually grew large enough to just set his head on the dinner table. He was a GSP/GWP mix. He wasn't much of a hunter but loved being outside. He was an amazing companion dog while he was with us. We had to put him down to end some the suffering from hip dysplasia. We got a few good extra years with acupuncture. One of the main reasons I do it today.

Finn.jpg

Here is my guy, Finn. He comes from a long line of great PL's & his only limitation will be my amateur training. We both will be learning together.
