All this heat has got me hoping for fall to come early and then some ice to get made. What's everyones favorite rod/reel combo? Been looking at picking up a new st. Croix rod/reel combo.

Thorne bros perch and walleye sweetheart or TUCR precision. Paired with a Shimano Sienna 500FD. You see me with something else in my hand it was most likely free. Or I've had to many Lord waters.

I contacted St. Croix and was able to get a few rod blanks. I built an ultra light for bluegill and perch and still have 2 medium weight rods to build. I absolutely love that ultra light paired with a shimano sienna 500 for bluegill and perch. My favorite walleye rod was a northland rod I had but ended up breaking last winter.

Now u have me wanting to build rods with them other St.Croix blanks.

Might have to leave my debit card at home now. I have way too much time to look at mudhole while I'm grain carting

TB Perch sweetheart for 1/16 and 1/8 oz spoons. TB Walleye sweetheart for bigger lures. I have a DH Al Dente that I really like for panfish.

You guys should really try a tuned up customs. The precision and power precision are fantastic perch and walleye rods. The Eva foam handles are fantastic as well. Don't get me wrong, I like my TB rods but they collected some dust last year.

Thorne Brothers Perch Sweetheart with a Pflueger President spinning reel. Perfect walleye/perch combo and definitely worth the price. If I could get back the money from every el-cheapo ice rod I'd bought, I'd be able to buy a few more TBs!
