Is it possible to run a league that is open state-wide? Honor system of sorts. Maybe have a summer split and a winter split. Maybe use length instead of weight since it is easy to verify with pics.

So, base idea:
Anyone can register, no limitation.
When you catch a limit you can post it to the league via a picture that verifies fish lengths.
Each member is allowed 5? entries all split, so choose wisely.
Prizes for top placements, biggest overall fish, etc...
Seems doable, and a little something extra for the fishing season.

This is just off the top of my head. Use it as a starting point to discuss how this could work, if it could work, if it would gain interest, etc ...

Sounds like a fun thing to do, but not sure how sustainable it would be. Have to have some sort of "prizes" but that usually leads to cheating. Maybe top 5 entries every month get entered into a pool with one winner receiving a gift.

Would maybe be necessary to have check in spots. Get some local bait shops on board.
