Anyone here ever Hydro dipped a gun? I'm thinking about buying a kit and trying it out on my coyote gun. It's a savage model 11 22.250. I'm wondering what the prep work is. Obviously i would need to remove the stock and do it sperately, but what i need to know is do i have to seperate the barrel from the action? or can i do that all in one piece? Do I need to be worried about the trigger assembly? Any tips that anyone has would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance

Having ZERO experience with Hydro Dipping, I think I'm qualified to take a stab at this..........

I would guess you don't need to remove the barrel from the action. I don't think it would hurt you one way or another. Absolutely remove the trigger assembly from the action. IME, a dry, clean, gunk free trigger is a happy one so take it out. Anything that you are experienced with/ qualified to remove/ break down, take it off (scope mounts included). If I'm wrong on any of this, then don't listen to me.
