Just got my girlfriend into bow hunting and was wondering what you guys have for setups for them or other women hunter out there. What broadheads, arrows poundage?
Right now she's shooting a Mathews mission flare 25" draw 42 lbs with CX mayhem 150 tipped with Magnus 100 gr stingers

I don't understand the trend on outdoor sites comparing women to children. I've frequently observed quantifiable mature intellect.

As long as its a fixed blade....
Depends on the arrows for weight... u dont just add a heavier Brodhead, may need heavier arrows, other variations but not gun a get into proper setup for arrows cuz it does not matter.... only needs to go in halfway, just make sure its a fixed blade Brodhead shot no frther than id say 30 yds, preferably under
Mine has a bowtech something, 24.5, 100 grain, 40 lbs, cheaper arrows I forget, but just shooting targets for now

My wife has a bowtech heartbreaker. Some pink gold tip Ted Nugent arrows, 100 gr. Slick trick vipers, set at 36 lbs.

We are both right, I estimate his entire arrow weight at only 358 grains. I would definitely want something heavier overall and with a higher FOC.

Yes they are a fixed blade, and I have to dig out my scale but I'm guessing the total weight of the arrow is around 340 gr. I'm thinking I shld switch to the Mayhem 250 their 8.8 gr per inch

If the arrow spine is correct, instead of buying new arrows you might be able to just get inserts to add weight. This should also help the FOC.

Several good points here. Arrow spline is most important to find correctly, different arrows will vary some per weight where u can adjust your weight forward. Several arrow calculator found on the internet but make sure the spline is correct. Remember to use arrow length not draw length....
