Had this bear show up at a bait last Sunday, a few bear stuck around that bait but most have left, remaining ones are super jumpy. Just curious what everyone thinks it would weight? Third picture is for reference.

Third picture is of a different bear, what I would consider an average bear for Minnesota, at least from my experience? Still hoping to put him on the ground and get an actual weight - he has become my target for the season.

Ok, good. That third pic was really throwing me off.

The middle pic looks like he is over 4 bills but, all deceiving angles.

He is a smart one! We sat that stand from 10:30 - 2:00 each day there and again from 4:30 - dark thirty, nothing. We tried walking two people in to bait leaving one behind and the other walking out, nothing. But he comes in about 45 minutes to an hour after we leave the stand. Tried mixing up the sweets putting out something new. Any suggestions would be appreciated, as this one has me stumped?

I have two stands at this bait that I leave up all year and I am thinking he might have them pegged so am going to hang a third and try that? Maybe I am way overthinking this, who knows?

trapper62.
the 2 in/one out does not work well unless you have a DAILY baiting routine..

i would not set up another stand. bear get used to human scent around the bait but do not like it when they come across scent where none has been before. good way to bugger them off.
there is no trick. just time and luck.
hope you get him
