CH 622. Against the BIson!! Boeser is going to be a special player; talking about one of the 10 freshmen on the team. Nice goal. Goalie will be a question mark with not much college experience among the three competitors. LGS!!

yup... we're down this year - on paper, but we always seem to either over or under achieve, so who knows... post hack is a new game, but defenceman positioning at the net is gonna be crucial, especially early...

the season rides on the fresh 10...

ummmm... on the fresh 10 - so far so good...

UND 8-Bison (Manitoba) 3 final. UND 56 to 17 shots on goal. Sullivan w/ hat trick. Two others with 3 points apiece.

After the game the two teams played an exhibition 3 on 3 sudden death which was dominated by UND as well. This is a new way to possibly settle the overtime tie in the NCHC, so they both agreed pregame, to give it a try.

Update please ?

we win 8-3???

offense good - lots of o pressure @ the net... 56 sog...

defense good - but not playing the gophers by any stretch...

goal tending - ya, not so good... might take 5+ goals to win this year...

my final take - should be a fun team to watch... we will blow 3 goal leads... we will score pretty goals... we will not have a goal tender drafted for at least 3 years... but, i think the dump and run offense is gone... patience...

UND (6-0-2) swept Colorado College (0-8) with a 2-0 shut out tonight and a 5-2 win on Friday and should be ranked #1 in the nation on Monday when the NCAA D-1 rankings come out. Last few weeks they spilt that ranking with UN Omaha, but UNO lost twice this weekend to Western Michigan that has a 4-2 record.

Can't believe CC is sucking wind so bad. Aren't they typically a pretty good squad?

They had a decent program until they fired their coach that had a sweet perm 2 years ago. Think they have won 4 games since they fired him.
UND's third string goalie has more shutouts already this year than McIntyre had all of last year. That's kind of a crazy random stat considering McIntyre was up for the Hobey Baker. I'm still waiting for their 3rd round draft pick goalie to play a game. Kids supposed to be the real deal. It's nice to see UND's freshman off to a strong start. They sure have a lot of youngsters on their roster again. I'm sure there will be some growing pains as the year moves along. Should be fun to watch once again. There are two more former Sioux that have cracked NHL lineups, Derek Forbort for the Kings and Rocco Grimaldi for the Panthers. There sure are a bunch of Sioux in the pros.
GO SIOUX!
