umm I dont trust snopes on most things but per their website this is true, happened northwest of Winnipeg but they arent sure if a train threw it up there or if it was hit and killed and someone put it up there on purpose for a joke.

As the eagle tried to fly away with this doe in its talons it could no longer hold on, and as the deer fell it landed on the power lines. Witnesses claim the deer was at first trying to escape from the high wires, but as she connected to the other line it was a quick lights out.
