I'd contact Ruger, make sure this was a factory issue and get the retail price upon issue. I'm a gun nut not a gun expert.

Looks like a pretty sweet gun. Is that a single six?

Not a factory sanctioned Ruger commemorative. As far as Ruger is concerned, that's just another run of the mill Blackhawk. I believe there was also a Winchester '94 30-30 and a Ruger Red Label done for the ND centennial. I remember seeing these @ Scheels stores in '89.

Will it brew you a cup of Folgers coffee too? If so 2200 is a bargain

I've always been leery of "commemorative" firearms. They only appeal to a niche group of individuals and only to the individuals within that niche who have the money to pay for it. If you want it to be a family heirloom, great! If you ever found yourself in a financial bind and need to unload it, expect to get about 50% of what you paid for it or spend a long time waiting for that one special buyer.

they have a bunch of commemorative guns regarding ND. oil patch ones, etc. I know a guy that has at least a half a dozen of the oil ones. neat to look at but unless you have a ton of cash don't make much sense to own.

Lincoln, kinda...
Commemorative firearms remind me a lot of the old car/horse/whatever-shaped bottles of booze.
