So who's got these badboys and how do you like them? Sportsmans warehouse is running a black friday deal for 1699 they say 800 off, cheapest i have seen them is 2099. I have been saying i want to buy a set of these for a while but never do. So what say you gibronis are they worth the coin? If i am not hunting next friday i might have to snag a pair.

I had the non-HD version from '04-'12. Sold them for the Zeiss Victory LRF binocs due to better optical performance (I owned them both for ~2mo while deciding which to keep). Pard has the Swaro EL range and the LRF on them is better than the Leica and the Zeiss, especially when it's snowing. I didn't get a chance to get a good bead on optical performance between the Zeiss and the Swaro, nor have I handled the newer Leica B.

I use the HD-B, 10x42's and they are all about the same, a buddy has the Swaros and in the fog they both suck, they give readouts of 33 yds or something like that when you can see out to 600 or so. My Swaro EL's have a different hue to the lenses, my Leicas seem more blue but hell it's high end stuff and you shouldn't be disappointed.

What's better option combo unit or separate binos and range finder? I have binos and a range but have been thinking about selling them and buying a combo unit

Combo unit is more convenient. I've got several sets of very good binocs and a Leica LRF as well, but I don't carry any of them very often over the Zeiss combo unit, or the Geovid I had before that. Far too convenient to know what's what before you ever get out from behind binocs, never having to get through 3 devices to make a shot is handy too.

Here's another question are the Bushnell range finding scopes legal in nd? I have seen more than a handful of guys using them, I figured they would be illegal for deer anyways.
