I was out just driving around this morning and saw a nice 4x4 laying down in the middle of a stubble field. Tried to find somebody with a buck tag but everyone I flagged down was pheasant hunting!

Passed on a 140 yesterday since I didn't have the ambition to pack him out. Had a 130 this morning try to commit suicide and a 150 that I tried the North Dakota 90 Mile an hour sneak on. Well more like 30 but he was a mile out in a flat stubble field so figured I may as well see if he would let my go by on the prairie trail. He didn't care but she was having none of it!;:;boozer

I had hardly saw any deer the past few months. Today I saw a bunch. All NW of Williston and north of Grenora. Two were dandy's and the other two were decent. They are so in the rut right now it's pathetic. They were wandering around barely off the road chasing does and didn't give a crap about anything else.
