Does anyone use an ice saw to cut there holes for spearing if so how well do they work in the middle of the season on 2 foot plus of ice? Also if you do what brand is the best to get kicking around the idea of getting one. Thanks

Fishes are the best but I own a Nills it works well to . Two feet of ice is max for either. I still drill two hole when the ice is thinner, up to six when it's thicker. A ice auger works just as well but a lot more slush. I fish Sakakwea and it barely gets three feet on a cold year so they work well. This year I am going to need floaties on my fish house till February.

I drill holes connected to each other. It m as kes a ton of slush, but I find removing slush easier than sawing thru ice. Do need the saw if hokes aren't connected properly
