They really choked. They played well, played hard, they just didn't score goals.

they did not get one bounce of the puck the whole series. game 2 sucked but the other games they had a chance just never scored that is what they are missing a pure goal scorer. Vanek is not the answer.

I feel terrible for Parise. He is such a talent and hard worker but is surrounded by a bunch of slacker former Gophers. Vanek, Ballard, Haula and Leopold all were standouts at U of M. Look at them now, Vanek is one of the laziest players on the Wild team, time after time he gets caught not moving his feet in the defensive zone.

Look at how the Sioux standouts perform at the NHL level compared to the U of M. This is about player development. There is a reason the Sioux have attracted some very high level recruits again this past year. These kids coming in are smart enough to see the finished products put out by each program.
