Anyone ever notice that there is rarely anything in a walleye stomach? Why is that?

Grew up close to devils lake and after fishing the sheyenne and red rivers, i was somewhat amazed at the amount of jigs and grubs i find in their bellies!! 3 jigs with twisters attached in one 15-16"er equals a pretty good ROI ha.

Actually, most of the walleyes I catch in the Sheyenne have something in their stomachs. The lake caught fish are usually empty. I find lots of frogs, bullheads, and crayfish inside the Sheyenne eyes.
