Crown butte

Has anyone been out here lately? How thick is the ice? What is a good bait to use? What kind of fish are in this lake? My daughter wants to go fishing today and crown butte is one or our choices. And we have never fished it.

Haven't fished it this winter, but it full of sunfish and crappie.

I was out there about 2 weeks ago and ice was around 10" so I'm sure it's a lot thicker now. Lots of small bluegills in there with a few keepers mixed in. Might run into an an occasional perch and crappie if your lucky. Wax worms and small jigs is about all you need to catch em.
