When I was a kid my Dad had a Blue Fox Pinpoint Marker Buoy. They were the cadillac of marker buoys it seems to me. They stood up nice and tall so a guy could actually see them in the water. Apparently they quit making them a while back. I would love to find one or two a garage sale someday. Got me thinking about things they stopped making but they still should. Any others?

I remember those, for me it would be gold and silver Genz worms in all the sizes. They are my go to for panfish.

Speaking of those old school fish markers, am I the only guy that keeps a few on hand to set about 500 yards away when we get on em. It's almost better than catching fish when you see boats pull in cuz they see the marker floating there. Ooooop, got one, ooop got another lol.

I think I may still have two that I rarely ever used. Remind me when warm weather gets here so I can dig around the lawn shed. If I find them I will give them to you.

That would be great. You may very well be hearing from me this spring.

Not where I'd like to be
Not sure if "they" don't make it anymore or you just can't find it anywhere, but there are two things in my coyote arsenal that just can no longer be had (including on the entirety of the internets):

-- A reversible full head face mask -- brown / camo on one side, white on the other.
-- Anything in Mossy Oak Winter Brush. - Easily the best snow pattern (for this part of the country) ever devised.

22LR ammo in sufficient quantities to satisfy demand

Black marker buoys.

Danner Lacer boots

Kombi made a windstopper fleece backed/leather palm glove that was warm and yet still allowed one to feel a 3# rifle trigger.

Model 70 Winchesters with the original trigger design

Shimano Stradic reels made in Japan vs. Malaysia

Beckman fishing nets

Lead shot for waterfowl

Remington 541 S and T models

Winchester 52 and 75 22's

High Standard 22lr semi-auto handguns

SKB/Ithaca 100/200/280 SxS shotguns made in Japan for $1200 or less new

Lapua brass in 270Win and 7-08Rem

Sugoi Rodeo crank baits. Bought 3-4 of them outta a bargain bin when Gander 1st opened in Fargo. Figured out well after they were all sold out and discontinued that they're fish-catching summbitches, alas, all of mine have been involuntarily offered up to the abyss.

Colt Python

The trouble with them is they'd be $3,500+ or they'd have to be of lessor quality. Which is the same problem the 4 guns I listed have. Couldn't maintain quality and their original target market price.

Keen "Cody" boots, they're similar to wellington's but look just like shoes when the tops are covered by your pants. They're light, very waterproof, and very warm, unfortunately by the time I figured out how good they really were, they'd been discontinued.
