Not that speed is everything ... I'm basically just curious.

How fast does your boat go? Do you strive to go faster?

I get about 52 to 54 on the ProV, calm water and just me and Mrs johnr.
I don't like pushing it that hard, I have had the 225 optimax blow a head twice. Not because I'm hard on it, but freak situations. So it's rarely pushed wide open

2 summers ago I could get just under 63 for top speed. 18' fisher fx19dv with a 200 option and a hi 5 23p ss prop. Also have a 9.9 me kicker..

Don't know what changed in the winter of 2013-2014 but I couldn't get over 56 last summer...

52 is what I have topped out at. Would love to go faster, but not willing to give any in the hole shot.

2011 22' Bennington ESP triple tube pontoon 60 gallon fuel tank with F150 Yamaha which is the smallest engine recommended on my boat, is rated for up to a 250 hp, Yamaha reliance 14.5 X 15 3 blade stainless with full fuel full supplies and 2 people and 2 dogs it does about 35, light loaded just wife and I with under half tank of fuel I have seen 39 all GPS read speeds. My set up with a 250 runs about 46-48.

With the new motor on, I hit 31 last weekend. Which is an immense improvement on 22 simply because I had two people in the boat. I'm kinda loving the new 50 horse. One day I'll drive along in a sparkly boat and reach scary speeds. Anyone need a chiro?

With just me and the dog, I can get up to 18. With one more person on a calm day, 12. Not bad for a 15hp. I'm more concerned with my bottom speed. It trolls down low enough to troll BB with slow death and spinner rigs.

5575 Story/rumor is he reflashed his VROD and also he was going down current at hazelton which last year was adding 3-5mph, a good buddy has video of his wx1880 that he has spent a lot of time dialing in going 62 on that same stretch of river after the current actually slowed a bit too. Either way no doubt his boat flies i would have liked to see the ranger and yardbird from that outlaw tourney go the same direction because i think that 350 would give the flashed ranger a run for his money. Speaking of rumors i've heard i'm sure this summer you will find out what a 209 with a 350 will do.

Tim has been in that boat, I saw the video on peck and they were going 68 I believe with 3 or 4 guys in the thing. Its fast.
My partner has a 219 with a 350 coming jackplated, it should run the big lake pretty good as well when he figures out the prop.
A 209 would be interesting for sure thou!

She can go about 75-80 down the freeway. On the water 32 is the fastest I've got it to go.

40 mph down stream 34-35 up stream on crestliner 16.5 tourney addition. scary river lately. some boats doing 50 to 60 mph not slowing down around boats. I'm thinking only a matter of time before we have a bad accident.
