So after reading it, looks like the season is tentative. You apply just to get in the game. If you draw, you select a unit later. NDGF can pull the tag after September 1st if pneumonia breaks out again. That would suck so much to draw and have the tag yanked.

Saw this in the news release:

"Because the bighorn sheep application fee is not refundable as per state law, if a bighorn season is not held, applicants would not receive a refund."

Kind of odd they can't refund you if there is no season...

And my 2 kids that just passed hunters safety, are they eligible at ages 11 and 13?

Minimum Age – The minimum age for hunting bighorn sheep,
moose or elk is 14 on or before December 31, 2016. Anyone under age 15 afield
with firearms must be under direct supervision of a parent, legal guardian or
other adult authorized by a parent or guardian.

mine and the wifes donations will be official tonight....... I had a buddy tell me when in drew my ND goat tag 2 years ago with 1pt im the luckiest man with draw odds... I said really says the guy who has drawn his moose and elk tag and is 33 years old.... haha

After my pa getting his moose tag last year and seeing the numbers and size of moose that we did. All I want to do is get drawn for a moose!
