Just curious if anyone know of any coonhound breeders in North Dakota. I am looking for a hound pup. Would prefer redbone but will consider any coonhound pup.

i know andy at scienc sports in williston runs hounds for cats... don't know if that is the same??? if so, or not give him a call... he would know if there are some around... he has been running hounds for a long time, and i'm sure has many contacts...

I like your choice, Please keep me posted if you find anything local . One is a pup , It might be an option. The other is an older dog.
From what I know about hounds they are born hunters and it's hard to ruin a born hunter but As bad as I hate seeing a dog live in a cage I have tried to train a neglected dog(Not a hound)what a challenge. It just couldn't get past the puppy stage.
I have a good friend in UT that has bred and and hunted with hounds for 60+ years, I'd like to get a breeding pair from him someday if there is a decent market, Otherwise I only want a bloodhound, We had one when I was a kid it was an awesome dog.
