Smelt

Anyone know where a guy can get some decent sized smelt? I'm looking for 8-12" smelt if possible. All I can find around Minot is the 4-6" at the grocery store. Any info is appreciated. I'd even be willing to have them shipped or travel to purchase if you know of a good source.

valley supply store has good sized smelt. they are located out there by the truck stop as you go west of town. they are just east of that truck stop.

Simonsons sells 10"-12" ones in packs of 3.

Dans in Bismarck sells them for a pretty cheap price. The herring are from Scheels the two types of smelt are both from dans.

Market place on north hill had some 6-8" ones and so did valley custom meats by the flying j. Also B and D has them off and on before someone buys them all....
