Words and such:

This is Nathan Lafleur & he's holding a 51 1/2" fish (22 inches around) caught by the shores of Devils Lake Wednesday night. Likely a state record but Nathan decided to release the pike back into the waters. He caught the fish on a fly rod & a fly that resembles a white bass.

I know nothing of the measurements. But, I know the fella and the pic looks real. I am not surprised he caught it or released it. That's all him and his brother do is fish pike. And they catch a ton of big fish. Mostly fly fishing this time of year. Good on him!

His brother was/is 40sorbust or something like that on the other site.

I wonder if the Devils Lake school board is putting money back into that outstanding pike fishery?
