Have you noticed some stuff is on the shelf and some hasn't been there for months. What's there doesn't make much sense either. I was looking for some 7-08 brass for my neighbor the other day and, zip, nope, nada. They did however have 375 H&H, 36 Wheelen, 505 Gibbs but no 7-08. Gal working in the loading dept said they hadn't had any in months.

WHat have you guys noticed where you live?

I wanted to neck down some 284 Winchester to 6.5x284. 284 has been nonexistent for three years. That darn Lapua is $150 per 100.

Powders, brass, and primers are all sporadic.

I'll keep an eye out for some 284 Win and grab some if I find it. How much are you looking for?

I'm looking for Hornady 220 gr 375 bullets, they discontinued them.

Right now I have 200 Lapua, and 150 Winchester 284. Half of it has been fired three and four times. If I run across some in the next two or three years I would take a couple hundred.
Accuracy is just as good with the Winchester. I have to size before I annealing or the shoulder collapses when trying to resize. I inside and outside neck turn at the same time to .014 inch walls.

257Roberts brass is also non-existent or only made once/year or two. I'm necking down European 7X57 brass. 358Winchester is made by necking up 308 brass, although Hornady makes it. A friend just bought a used very accurate Ruger #1`chambered for 9.3X74 Rimmed (I think he wants to shoot through his black bears end-to-end). Hornady has brass, dies, and bullets for that one too.
