Ok how many tagged fish have you caught and how far did they travel.
I have 15 tags and the one that traveled the most was caught at the garrison tailrace which travel from South Dakota, was tagged a month before. The biggest fish was a 10.2 caught at Lunds Landing and was tagged the year before came back the next year for me to catch.

Good thing that one didn't say reward on it. You would have probably stole it from me.

I would guess I have fished as much as any obsessive fisherman, and I have never caught a tagged fish. I hunt pheasants likely 30 times a season or more, I have never shot a banded bird either.

I was once pulled over for speeding and didn't get a ticket though, so I have that going for me on my death bed.

I've caught 4 in my life, but its been over 10 years. 2 were on the Missouri in Bismarck and were caught within a mile of their tagging location. The other 2 were at New Johns and Sakakawea and I don't remember the G&F telling me where those we tagged.

I caught one walleye in Mission Bay on Devils Lake about 10 years ago and one crappie last year on Pipestem.

The recent lip banded one we have caught quite a few the last 2 years on the river most were tagged in sd or beaver bay and traveled anywhere from thirty to three miles from where they were tagged most have been 14-17 inch fish but we did get one 24 last year. On sakakawea i have caught two of them one was probably 17 inches the other was 26 i kept the 26 as we were in a tournament never wrote the tag number down though, it helped us win first place in the tourney and after all the pendelton i forgot about the tag.
