Looks like it could come in handy for an old timer I fish with that takes about 15 minutes, a beer, a sandwich and a pair of cheaters to tie on a jig. Think I'll order him one to try. He's not a fan of pitching jigs in pike infested waters, this could make it a little less frustrating. If it turns out shit, I guess I've spent more than 15 bones on shitty stuff lotsa times.

Really not a bad idea. I can see the ice jig model for small panfish jigs if out hole hoping in the cold and wind.

very cool. But it needs to be $5.

Doesn't look Palomar friendly...

don't be so damn cheap with the braid - using up 6-8 inches is good - keeps you off that rough zone

This is critical for those of us who tempt fate pitching with braid sans fluorocarbon leaders

heck - I tie Palomars on bottom bouncers

when FORCED to do so by horrible fishing circumstances

I am afraid to open that Guy. Not a big fan of what I'm inferring that's about.

But it comes with a lanyard so you don't have to dig for it in your tackle box.:;:sorry

Couple of guys in the reviews say not to use the lanyard because you could lose the tool. The tool just clips onto the lanyard, not permanently attached.

When I get old enough to need that deal, I hope at least one of my kids will tie for me. Not a bad little contraption, though.

I like the lanyard. Then I can conceal carry at work and Sum1 and I can be friends.

Looks like a good tool for cold hands, old hands or not very good knot tiers.
