Introducing my new (used) puddle jumper-the USS Minnow. Just hope I don't end up stranded on an island like Gilligan, unless, of course, Ginger and Mary Ann are there. :) It's 4'x10' and handles over 500#. Now I need to pimp it out with rod holders, a depth finder, trolling motor and an anchor like Dean Nelson's Pipsqueak. It pulls real nice behind my little Toyota SUV so I won't have to use the big gas guzzling suburban to tow it around.

Neat! Stealthy, inexpensive, can get into small waters. It's midway between a kayak and a small tiller.

Used to have exact boat. They are fish catching machines. Used in Bays on Sak for years and they will take bigger waves than you think but don't recommend testing that wave thing out too much.

:) Mud Puppy sounds like a real neat name for a boat on small water. It made me think of salamanders. I have a 1982 9.9 Johnson that only has two tanks of gas through it. It needs a home and I would like to find a 14 ft John boat. Maybe I'll call it the A. T. Salamander. A T for Ambystoma tigrinum = tiger salamander. At one time I built a trap for those critters to take the heat of farmers. Long story.

Considered calling it Titantic Jr. or The Nautilus but maybe that's being a little pretentious. Think I'll stick with Mud Puppy.
